The last two days in Stockholm Archipelago have been particularly tough with 20 knots winds and the fight has been tense in the front of the fleet until the last race of the last day, leaving all competitors exhausted after the finish.
Although they capsized during last leg, loosing many places, Fredrik Karlsson and Niklas Nordblom got a third win in a row, just ahead Belgian pair Patrick Demesmaeker and Vincent Thery, those getting a little bitter taste in their mouths at the end, as they might have lost the victory since their GPS device did not work properly which made them sailed a longer course on more than one occasion…
Casper Seifert and Henrik Almstedt, third overall, had one 3rd and one 1st during the last day, while Dutch father/son Ad & Maarten Noordzij unfortunately hit a rock and lost a dagger in the first race on the final day. Finishing 5th in the last race was not enough for them to keep their standing on the podium.
Tomas Ekefalk & Johan Fischer (SWE) got 5th overall, and Nils Resvik & Johan Lindeberg 6th.
