Just only about 50 days left and then the ZHIK F18 U.S. Nationals will start! From October 17-23 this international sailboat regatta will feature up to 60 elite teams, including many sailors vying for spots on their countries’ Olympic teams, competing in the high-performance F18 class catamaran.
On behalf of the U.S. F18 Class Association, the local non-profit Charlotte Harbor Regatta (CHR) is the organizing authority for the regatta, which is the second international championship it will stage on Charlotte Harbor, following the 2012 International Association for Disabled Sailing World Championships. Last years edition was in Corpus Christi and was a blast. Mike Easton and Tripp Burd are the defending champs and will do everything to keep it the way it is. You can sign up NOW for this event, check the website and info here.
The U.S. F18 Class is proud to partner with Glaser Sails and Dimension Polyant to offer for auction a brand new Glaser Sails jib, with proceeds going to support making the 2015 F18 Americas on Charlotte Harbor a top notch event. The 2015 Zhik F18 Americas is also proud to team up with Fun in the Sun Services, Red Gear Racing and Goodall Designs to auction a C2 F18 boat charter for the regatta, set for Oct. 18-25, 2015 on Charlotte Harbor. Red Gear Racing will be conducting a training camp prior to the championship from Oct. 14-17. The camp will include daytime training on the water and on land, evening video with dinner each night of the camp. Please check the event website for more details about these awesome deals.
