Programme completed after day one in Brest, where Race Officer Philippe Faure did succeeded to provide the 50 teams with 3 good races. Demesmaeker/Tas (BEL) got a 6-2-2, when Jolbert Vandijk/Frank de Waard (NED) scored 9-1-1, just ahead Antoine Ferrec/Foucauld Delaplace (FRA) 5-5-3.
