Everything is in place in La Ballena Alegre Resort to welcome the 134 teams, coming from 24 countries and 5 continents, registered to enter 2024 Worlds, which means the highest numbers since Covid pandemic.
It is to notice, among others, a pretty strong delegation from Australia, whose National Class Association will present a bid to host 2026 Worlds in Jervoise Bay, WA.
Having a look at the entry list, one can easily spot big names, but difficult to predict who will be the winning team at the end of the championship. Whatever the case, entering the top 20 will already be a true performance.
Equipment inspection will start on Friday 28 June, and first qualification race will be sailed on Monday 1st July. See full programme here.
We are looking forward a great event, and we hope to meet you soon in Costa Brava.
