At the end of Australian National Titles Day 3 in Frankston, Brett Burvill & Max Puttman, scoring 3 bullets on 9 sailed races, got a solid lead 6 points ahead Matt Homan & Kris Bilston (20 points) and James McDonald & Joey Randall (28 points).

To note Day 1 has been marked by strong and sudden winds as reported by Frankston YC: “A day to remember… with lights winds to begin with, leading to ominous clouds and cold winds. 30knts of westerly wind lead to carnage left right and centre. One moment it’s fine the next half the fleet are flattened, with rescuing turning into 4 going on 5 hours of retrieving and righting boats. Rescue boat and sailing crews exhausted by days end after battling what Port Phillip Bay threw at us. All individuals and boat were accounted for and safely returned to shore.”
