2025 Americas Championship: 20 days left to benefit from Early Bird fee at Sailing Newport

US NCA Chair Steve Stroebel kindly reminds F18 sailors that the early entry fee to participate in the 2025 F18 Americas Championship at Newport, Rhode Island out of Sail Newport, will end by 1st April.

To note that Charles Froeb and Matthieu Marfaing, defending champions from the 2024 Americas, have already registered.  Please register now to show a great entry list to attract more competitors for even more fun. 

Key information:

  • 4 days of racing from Aug 26-29, 2025 (Tue – Fri)
  • 2 day warm-up regatta optional which is the New England 100 Long Distance race from Aug 23-24 (Sat – Sun)
  • Boat weigh-in starts on Fri Aug 22 and goes through Aug 25
  • Racing both on the Atlantic Ocean (Rhode Island Sound) and/or Narragansett Bay depending on the wind conditions
  • Great social schedule planned (see below)
  • Red Gear Racing is offering a training clinic beforehand and charter boats – see the NOR for more info
