Patrick Demesmaeker & Olivier Gagliani were close to be the first triple winners of Saint Barth Cata Cup, but last racing day decided otherwise…
Actually, the score was pretty close between the three leading teams and, not surprisingly, all of them fighted hard to won the last race, and the title as well.
In this game, Cruz & Mariano were the most eager to get the bullet, and they eventually succeeded in winning the race from Saint Jean to Public by way of Toc Vers and Mancel, then becoming 2021 Saint Barth Cata Cup winners, to conclude a superb F18 season.
French pair Gurvan Bontemps & Benjamin Amiot, continuously fighting at the front of the fleet, finish second, three points ahead Patrick & Olivier, a little bit disappointed, but happy at the end with their more than honourable third place.
To note a nice edition for IF18CA Secretary General Ad Noordzij and son Maarten, finishing 2nd in Race 2.
